課程概述 |
The main focus of this course is to promote students’ English reading skill
to college level by introducing important reading strategies. Students will be
encouraged to read both actively and extensively. Besides the core textbook
(Creative Reading 3), internet resources and Penguin Readers will provide most
of the other reading materials. There will be plenty of small/big group
discussion in class and some team work will be required. |

Students are expected to master the key reading strategies introduced in the
course and be able to respond actively to reading materials at the end of the
term. |

Regular attendance and class participation are essential: absence without good
excuses will be penalized (points will be deducted from the final mark). All
assignments should be done on time. |
