課程概述 |
Hydrology is the study of the earth's waters - their movement, distribution, and other relative qualitative and quantitative issues. The objective of this course is to introduce the student to 1) Principles and processes governing the movement of water through the hydrologic cycle, including atmospheric moisture flow, surface runoff, infiltration, river routing and groundwater flow; and 2) The quantitative description of hydrologic characteristics, including, hydrologic measurement, hydrologic statistics, and frequency analysis techniques applied to problems of engineering hydrologic design |

課程要求 |
4~5 assignments will be assigned in lecture and will typically be due within two week. For these assignments, you should work together in a group. Each group can have at most 3 members. In the end of the semester, group member will have an opportunity to evaluate the other members of the group. |
