課程概述 |
The course prepares students
to an effective speaker, one
that is able to get most
listeners to accept his/her
ideas, to remember at least
main points of what’s said,
and to respond as desired in
various situations such as,
oral reports, briefings,
group communications,
proposals, discussions, etc. |
課程目標 |
The course purports to teach
and guide, rather than to
merely present the skills of
how to design and deliver
speeches. |
課程要求 |
Students qualified to be in
this course are those who
are able to: use correct
grammar habitually, take
useful notes, write
effectively, speak
distinctly and correctly. If
you don’t have the
aforementioned skills, you
might need to make a serious
commitment to yourself to
give the course an intense,
sincere and dedicated try.
Students are expected to
complete the following tasks
under the guidance of the
instructor: demonstration
speech, Peer critique, short
informational talk,
interview, radio
program/interview,
discussion/ short
conversation. |
