課程概述 |
This course is designed to improve the English ability of the students through literary appreciation and various language-training practices. One literary work will be chosen as the major text (Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller for the Fall term of 2016); topics on current social and cultural issues will be brought into class discussion to stimulate a back-and-forth collaborative learning process. All the lectures and discussions will be conducted in English. |

3. To engage students in intellectual debates and critical thinking

課程要求 |
1.Regular and punctual attendance
2.Active participation in class discussions
3.Three writing exercises at the last class of each month, midterm performance in groups and final examination.
4.Class presentations and theatre notes on voluntary basis
