課程概述

1. Introduce the theories and concepts of health-related physical fitness
2. Understand how to improve physical fitness and promote health through exercise
3. Understand the relationship between exercise, physical fitness and health
4. Simple health fitness testing method 

課程目標
1. Can describe the elements and promotion methods of health-related physical fitness
2. Establish the ability to plan and practice health-related physical fitness on your own
3. Having regular exercise habits
4. Learn the spirit of teamwork and mutual assistance  
課程要求
1. Please meet at the mentioned place on time
2. Be sure to wear sportswear and sneakers during class. You can also bring your own notes, drinking water, towels, sun hats and changes of clothes
3. If you feel unwell on the day of class, be sure to report it to the teacher and do not force yourself to exercise
※ Course content may be flexibly adjusted depending on students’ learning conditions

Please choose 6 weeks to complete the "after class exercise worksheet" (Maximum 5 points for each assignment)

Skills Test

(1) Physical Fitness Test 5%:Pacer shuttle run; Curl-up; Sit and reach; Standing long jump (2) Basic Sports Skill Test 15%:Jump rope; Basic core exercises; Flexibility etc. (class related skills) 
4. 
Physical Activity Participation 
10% 
(1) Participate in NTU Athletic Games or NTU Swimming Competition: 4 points for each team event (relay; tug of war); 3 points for each individual event (2) Participate in NTU Freshmen Competition: 2 points for each event (3) Participate in external sports competitions: 2 points for each event ※ Scores for the top three will be counted double ※ Please attach your participation certificate or award record at the end of the semester
