課程概述 |
This course aims to establish the foundation for students to understand public speeches in English. Students learn to select topics, collect essential information, analyze the audience, organize materials, improve delivery skills, distinguish different types of speeches, and further to evaluate their own and others’ speeches. |

課程目標 |
In order to cultivate the students’ comprehensive capabilities to use English, especially the listening comprehension ability, different multimedia materials, including movies, songs, TV series, online interactional games, online aiding software, etc., are used to help students understand when and how to use language appropriately in various situations. Different activities (listening practice, role-play, group discussion, and oral presentation) are designed to facilitate students’ English learning. |
