課程概述 |
This course is an introduction to utopian literature. Attention will be paid first to some current utopian scholarship. Then we will study excerpts from various utopian novels with a view to appreciating diversity in the genre. |
|
課程目標 |
To introduce major utopian texts and to familiarize students with current utopian scholarship. |
|
課程要求 |
1.Regular attendance and active participation in class discussion.
2. Group report (group presentation 30 minutes; group written report 3-5 pages) / Mid-term exam / Final exam
3. Term Paper (optional): 4-6 pages; following the MLA style
