課程概述 |
Course Description:
This course will focus on developing the students competency in oral production. The emphasis will be put on both continuous and conversational oral, while another part of the course will focus on french phonetics.
During class, student are required to participate actively in oral interactions, and are helped to do so with different implementation of oral activities.

課程目標 |
Course Objectives:
This course is aimed at acquiring different skills:
● Pragmatic skills: acquiring the ability to take part in simple to intermediate conversations, as well as the capacity to perform short continuous presentations.
● Linguistic skills: improving the capacity to pronounce french phonemes correctly and form oral sentences in a fluent fashion.
● Sociocultural: discovering various simple and common accents of french, improving the understanding of differences between formal written french versus informal oral french.

Requirements:
It is mandatory to have previously attended French 1. It is strongly advised to attend this course at the same time as French 2, as their linguistic competency reinforce each other.
