課程概述 |
Course description
The focus is on acquiring smaller amounts of frequent grammatical structures, on reviewing and expanding structures already learned and on all four languages skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Free speech, sophisticated listening comprehension, reading longer texts and the development of essay writing are the main foci. This course will prepare students to pass internat. recognized exam (e.g. Zertifikat Deutsch). Therefore, the course will also familiarize students with the format and requirements of this exam.
Listening comprehension will be especially trained with German videos (e.g. Kubus) and TV films (Lola rennt).

Course requirements: German 2 or equivalent, CERF A2, regular attendance, willing to work on assignments, 1 presentation about a relevant topic, 2 exams (oral and written)
Teaching Materials & Textbooks: Berliner Platz 3 and additional online material
Grading: Average of midterm and final exams 50:50
