課程概述 |
The main focus of this course is to promote students’ English reading and listening skills to college level by introducing important strategies, although practices in the other two basic skills (speaking and writing) will also be included. Students will be encouraged to read and listen both actively and extensively, and enlarge their vocabulary. There will be plenty of group discussion in class.

課程目標 |
Students are expected to master the key reading and listening strategies introduced in the course and to be able to respond actively to reading materials at the end of the term. |

課程要求 |
Regular attendance and class participation are essential: absence without good excuses will be penalized (points will be deducted from the final mark). All assignments should be done on time; late submission will be penalized. |
