This course aims to stimulate the proficiency of using English for various purposes among non-English majors. It also helps students look into cultural nuances in different English-speaking countries. By adopting the interactive mode of Q & A, the instructor builds up a friendly and nourishing atmosphere of learning. In the meantime, students are guided to develop and organize their thoughts of timed writing and oral presentation in accordance with the methodological process of reading, listening and speaking.
