課程概述 |
This course is designed to prepare freshman students to enhance and improve English communication skills. Through universally inspiring topics and activities, and with a special focus on intercultural competence as a 'fifth skill', this course helps students become more sensitive, more effective communicators. Students should also expect enrichment projects to correspond with each unit of study. |
課程目標 |
The students are expected to express ideas clearly and effectively in a variety of oral contexts and apply active listening skills in the analysis and evaluation of spoken ideas. |
課程要求 |
1. Students who come in class more than 20 minutes late will be marked absent for the entire 3-hour-class period.
2. Absence from a class is no excuse for not knowing the assignment and what has been discussed in that class. It is your responsibility to ask your classmates what has been covered in the class.
3. Please submit your work on time. Delayed submission will NOT be accepted on any account. |
