課程概述 |
Designed to guide students to understand how they can be personally and intellectually involved in mastering upper-intermediate skills of English, this course seeks to enhance English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing with the goal of orienting students towards academic studies in an English-only environment. The designated textbook will provide the major framework for activities of listening and speaking. Throughout the semester, this course also offers writing sessions to cover fundamentals of paragraph writing. Meanwhile, peer collaboration and in-class activities are vital to the learning process. Students will constantly work with other group partners in writing workshops and in-class activities.

課程目標 |
By the end of this one-year course, students are expected to develop a habit of drawing on authentic English materials in listening and reading and acquire the upper-intermediate level of English proficiency. |
課程要求 |
1.Attend the class on time and collaborate with classmates in class activities.
2.Hand in the written assignments on time. Late assignments will be subject to point reduction.
3.Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
4.Students who miss more than 9 hours will not be allowed to take the final exam.
