課程概述 |
This course aims to provide the undergraduates with some basic concepts of semiotics. It discusses and illustrates the main trends, ideas and figures of semiotics, leading to examples of application in everyday life. Designed as a step-by-step introduction, this course induces students to reflect on a couple of issues: (1) what communication will be like in the future; (2) how we can improve our approaches to studying art, nature and culture; (3) how we can use semiotics to enhance our general wellbeing.
