課程概述 |
Course Description:
This course is meant as alternative/complementary course for Greek 2. Whereas Greek 2 provides students with opportunities to solidify their Greek through readings in various literary genres, this course offers readings to different text genres (e.g. descriptive, narrative, argumentative, directive texts) and subsequently examines how they can be combined together to produce the macro-texts that belong to the literary genres. |
課程目標 |
Course Objectives:
‧ Acquire at least a B2-level in reading and comprehending ancient Greek
‧ Learn to analyze and evaluate critically both written and (represented as) oral ancient Greek discourse
‧ Obtain transferable knowledge of principles governing the analysis and critical evaluation of both written and oral discourse in any language
‧ Appreciate the impact of cultural and/or environmental factors in the development of text genres |
