Course Description |
本課程涵蓋日治至戰後台灣史為範圍，採主題式課程規劃，原則上每單元2週為原則。日治時期分為四個單元：1.劇變與肆應、2.日本帝國的台灣統治構想與實踐、3.殖民性與現代性、4.經濟恐慌、戰爭與國家統合。戰後時期分為1.戰後初期的政治與社會、2.黨國威權體制的建立3.經濟奇蹟的背後4.民主化的完成。 |

Course Objective |
(一)理解日治與戰後台灣的內外情勢、政治社會重要課題。
(二)研讀先行學術成果，掌握近現代台灣政治社會史研究之重要觀點。
(三)接觸近代台灣史報刊、日記、回憶錄等史料，貼近時代氛圍，反思時人的處境、選擇與侷限。

Course Requirement |
(一)每單元各有指定閱讀資料，學生自行研讀後撰寫閱讀摘要與心得約1000字。
(二)各單元進行分組討論課。
(二)2-3人分組，進行期中報告撰寫。
(三)期末考申論題，開書考。
