課程概述

本課程為歷史系必修科「世界史」第四段，其討論範圍大略是十九至二十世紀二百年間的世界文明發展。課程重點在於歷史解釋與史觀的建立，史事的敘述依附於各討論課題之下，因此學生須具相關基礎知識、或於課前自修以掌握史實概況，方較能領略課上所論。 

課程目標
 學生對於十九至二十世紀二百年間的世界文明發展具有正確的歷史解釋與史觀。 
課程要求
 成績考核包括期中與期末兩次考試（各占40%）
出席率（20%）
上課表現為加分參考，缺課處分依校規辦理。
