課程概述 |
本課程以柏拉圖的「詩與哲學的古老爭執」為線索，對悲劇與喜劇作哲學上的討論。將搭配劇作與電影相互印證。
Following the lead by Plato's "ancient quarrel between poetry and philosophy," this course will discuss the concept of the tragic, the comic (or the humorous), and compare philosophical views of them with actual plays or films (that ostensibly reflect or refute those views).

課程目標 |
一、內容：理解「悲劇性」、「喜劇性」作為哲學課題的意涵，並深化對藝術作品的欣賞能力。
二、工具：培養表達（寫作/口說）哲學思考的基本能力（對於其他類型的寫作也是很有幫助的！）。
三、方法：學習如何從哲學的視角切入文學作品，培養不受學科拘束接觸文本的習慣。
1. Content: to understand how "the tragic" and "the comic" are significant philosophical topics and to deepen one's ability to appreciate artworks.
2. Tools: to cultivate the basic ability to communicate philosophical ideas in both speaking and writing (helps with other kinds of writing as well!)
3. Method: to learn besides how to approach literary works from the perspective of philosophy, indirectly practicing the interdisciplinary attitude in choosing reading texts.
