The course primarily explores information resources in the fields of science and technology, understands the importance of scientific and technological information to scholars and researchers in these fields, as well as researchers' information needs and behaviors, and the dissemination and diffusion of academic and industrial research findings. It also analyzes empirical research on the research processes and information behaviors of scholars and experts in various disciplines to help students grasp disciplinary knowledge and research characteristics, and reinforces their information retrieval skills and information content integration through assignments and exercises.
