課程概述

This course is designed to introduce students to some of the critical terms and areas of debate that have informed the study of theatre, drama and performance. Students will be guided through the following topics: dramatic genres, theatre architecture, acting, directing, scenography, audience and the history of the theatre in the West. 

課程目標
 This course aims to introduce students to all the aspects of drama and theatrical performance from the theoretical to the practical. Students will learn the basic skill of how to read a dramatic text and to hear its potential for performance. In addition, students are required to see and write analys es of two live performances.
