課程概述

This course will introduce students to the art and craft of director’s work, covering significant figures in the history of directing as well as various approaches and methods. In addition, our focus will be on the director’s craft, beginning with a non-verbal approach to stage composition, and progressing to more formal text analysis work, the various directing exercises culminate in the direction of a scene for public performance. 

課程目標
 1. Provide an introduction to the study of theatre directing.
2. Learn how to analyze the text.
3. Learn how to prepare for the rehearsal process and work with actors in staging a scene.
4. Know the mechanics of directing 
課程要求
 甄選資格：限本系大二(含)以上學生。

「基礎導演」為導演的基礎課程，未修畢本課程，將無法逕自修習進階的導演的相關課程，如「導演一」、「導演二」、「導演專題」。
