課程概述 |
This course will investigate the conceptualization, design, and execution of theatrical stage makeup. The course will be structured around lectures, demonstrations, and practical application of a variety of makeup techniques. In addition, instruction in computer aided design programs will be used to assist the student in translating and communicating their design ideas. |

課程目標 |
The students will analyze and conceptualize makeup designs based on particular characteristics of theatrical characters. They will expand their artistic interpretations utilizing computer rendering software. Through practical application exercises, students will develop a proficiency in fundamental make-up application techniques including blending practices, a system for creating illusions such as age effects, and three-dimensional special effects techniques. |
