課程概述 |
This course is designed to introduce students to the study of theatre from theoretical and historical points of views in an attempt to understand the nature of theatre, the mode of production and the varieties of theatrical experience. Students will also learn the basic skill of how to read a dramatic text and to hear its potential for performance. |

課程目標 |
1. To provide an introduction to the academic study of theatre; 2. To provide an introduction to a critical methodology for the analysis of plays in performance; 3. To encourage a critical understanding of theatre arts and their practices, and the institutional frameworks which affect them. 4. To know some important Taiwanese theatre companies and practitioners. |

課程要求 |
有關出席率說明:
上課遲到一次扣學期總成績一個等第 (A就變A-)，遲到超過15分鐘則視同缺課，缺課一次扣學期總成績兩個等第，遲到次數最多為3次，3次以上則學期總成績以F計算。缺課最高上限為兩次，兩次以上者，學期總分以零分F計算。公假或事假需於該週上課前請假報備，病假則需於下次上課時檢附醫師證明。
有關作業評分規定
1、所有課堂作業必須準時繳交，遲交一天扣該作業成績一個等第，遲交超過三天則一律以零分(X)計算。
2、所有課堂作業一律以書面型式繳交，12字型，double space。拒絕接受電子信件方式繳交。 |
