這是一門研讀與討論宋代史學文獻的研究所課程，這學期將焦點聚焦於南宋初期。這份說明並不是標準意義下的課程大綱(syllabus)，而是一份為第一次上課見面準備的邀請，邀請有興趣嚴肅閱讀、認真討論下面這些文獻（原始與二手）的博碩士班同學參與本課程。研究討論課(seminar)本來就是教師與同學們的一場共同實驗與冒險，其學習效率與成果端賴於所有參與者的志願與磨合。本課程進一步發揮這種開放精神，將採取以下述程序運作：

課程目標

本課程並不預設修課者有超過一般通史程度的宋史知識，亦不須以宋代史學為立志專攻，只要具備中英文基本閱讀本事，願意精進磨練這份閱讀能力，有耐心與他人進行持續性的溝通對話，都歡迎加入我們宋代歷史文本世界的探險之旅。

課程要求

無期中考。期末作業期中宣布。
延續上學期精讀東萊博議的精神，這學期焦點將轉移到胡寅讀史管見，並配合以相關的二手研究，熟習宋代史學史研究領域的行情。
由於開學第一周適逢中秋假期，因此，請有興趣修課的同學於第一周內自行完成下列作業。
1. 請至課程公布欄下載讀史管見。
2. 瀏覽後選擇個人最有興趣精讀的20條評論。
3. 將這20條評論的編號0918前用電郵寄給宋老師。
確切學期進度將於開學兩周商定。
