課程概述 |
今本《論語》為孔子弟子及再傳弟子編輯而成，其中歷經了數個階段。傳統上認為《論語》僅是孔子言行記錄的匯集，在編輯上並無特定的結構與脈絡，亦即各篇章之間並不存在一致的主題，亦不具結構性。但若運用新的詮釋角度加以分析，似可發現未必如此。本課程旨在探究《論語》各篇章的聯繫，試圖發掘《論語》的結構性，藉此呈現編輯脈絡及結構，並分析其中含蘊的思想意義。
The present Analects was edited after the death of Confucius by his disciples and descendants and went through several stages. Tradition says that the Analects is just a record of Confucius’ words and each chapter is not unified into one theme and surely no structure at all. But from the point of interpretations today, it may not be so. This course aims to explore the link between chapters in the Analects to show up its structure the ideas included.

課程目標 |
本課程包含以下幾個目標：第一，根據出土文獻及歷代史料，確定《論語》的不同編輯階段。第二，梳理《論語》歷代注解，並從中辨析出各章意義及可能的引申義。第三，分析並聯繫各章義理，建立篇章間的結構，並探討其中所蘊含的思想意義。
There are several targets in the course. First, we will clarify the editorial stages according to the unearthed literature and historical materials. Second, we are going to study the annotations through ages and try to find out the original meanings of the chapters and possible interpretations within. Third, we will try to analyze the chapters, discover the structure within, and discuss the meanings implied.
