課程概述 |
本課程從歷史的角度切入，首先研讀David Lewis, Alvin Plantinga與Robert Merrihew Adams等人關於可能世界、模態(Modality)以及不同世界的同一性之理論，接著研讀Kit Fine對於模態與時態之論文集。模態概念與如何解讀可能世界有密切之關聯，從模態詞De Re/De Dicto的使用會連結至不同解讀可能世界的方式可見一斑。此外，「可能」與「必然」兩詞幾乎無可避免地出現在語言的使用中。因此，欲藉由此次專題指導更深入地探討模態此概念，並對其與可能世界的本體論問題之間關係做一研究。 |
