課程概述

在本課程中，我們將會深入探討關於隱喻的哲學理論，以及在古代中國哲學中的相關隱喻研究。在第2-3週，我們會從兩種經典的隱喻理論出發，隨後聚焦在最近發展的三種新進路：脈絡論（第4-5週）、假裝論（第7週）、以及認知語言學派（第10週）。中國哲學隱喻研究主要就是採用了認知語言學派的進路，因此在第11-12週和第14週，我們會討論兩個採用此進路的研究，以及一個批評它的文章。另外，在第8週我們會討論最近的一篇和假裝論有關的文章，討論到莊子中的虛構論。最後在第15週，我們會討論關於「權」的隱喻的兩篇文章。

課程目標

本課程的目標在使修課學生能熟悉各種不同的隱喻理論，並檢視在什麼程度上可以將之應用在古代中國哲學的研究上面。

課程要求

修課學生須要積極參與討論，輪流導讀指定的閱讀文獻，口頭報告期末論文預定要撰寫的主題，並繳交一份期末論文。
