課程概述 |
本課程將介紹早期分析哲學的發展歷史,特別是弗列格(Frege)如何帶動語言轉向的潮流,以及他的語言哲學立場與他建立的邏輯系統之間的關係。而羅素(Russell)又是如何發揚及駁斥弗列格的理論,以及他著名的邏輯原子論如何影響往後語言哲學和形上學的發展。最後會介紹維根斯坦(Wittgenstein)對這兩位哲學的回應,以及他在《邏輯哲學論》(Tractutus Logico- Philosophicus)提出的新穎且饒富爭議的看法。 |
課程目標 |
熟悉分析哲學的由來和早期發展,並掌握早期分析哲學家關注的課題(語言哲學、邏輯、邏輯哲學、形上學)及相關爭論和立場。 |
課程要求 |
每週皆有指定閱讀文章。學生應於課前讀完文章,撰寫摘要,並於上課前將摘要寄給老師。每次上課會指定一位同學報告文章內容,其餘同學提問討論。期末應繳交期末報告。 |
