課程概述 |
審議民主（deliberative democracy）致力於改善民主加總觀以及民主政治實踐出現的問題。民主加總觀訴諸投票程序，依據公民的現有偏好來做決議。相對地，審議民主論者關注投票之前的公共審議過程，要求公民或其代表必須提出理由來證成自己的立場，聆聽不同觀點，經過討論和理由證據的評估再做出集體決議。本課程將探討當代審議民主三階段研究的政治哲學思想，包括：審議的規範原則與證成、微型公眾（mini-publics）的審議實作、審議民主的系統取向。 |

課程目標 |
1.學生透過研讀文獻，正確瞭解當代審議民主研究的主張及其面臨的理論或實作問題。
2.學生透過課前提問與課堂討論，提升論證分析與反思批判的能力。
3.學生透過撰寫學術性論文，提昇論證建構、批判與回應，以及延伸應用的學術研究能力。 |

課程要求 |
1.本課程適合已具備政治哲學基礎知識的碩博士生和大學部高年級學生選修。欲修課者第一週務必出席，瞭解課程性質和要求，並分配導讀和討論帶領之週次（若未出席，則不予修課）。
2.閱讀文本與提問：須於課前詳細閱讀各週指定的文本內容，掌握問題意識與理論主張，並提出自己的見解、疑問或批判。
3.課堂報告與討論：每週由一或兩人導讀該週指定文本之要點，一人帶領討論。所有學生皆須積極參與課堂討論，思考相關理論主張和詮釋之合理性。
4.撰寫期末報告：須針對授課內容，自選研究主題，撰寫一篇學術性論文。

課前讀完指定閱讀文本後，提出(1)至少一個你認為最有說服力/印象最深刻的論點，或舉一個符合文本作者觀點的實例；(2)至少一個疑問、論點評估、批判或延伸問題。
課前提問須於每週二晚上22:00前，在NTU COOL課程網頁「討論區」，以發佈貼文的方式繳交（遲交會扣分）。
此外，應準時出席並積極參與課堂討論。如果無法來上課，須事先向教師請假。 |

口頭導讀與討論帶領 |

每人選擇兩週主題做文本導讀，並選擇兩週主題帶領問題討論。導讀者須提供綱要電子檔（每10頁文本1頁綱要），於每週二晚上22:00前，上傳至課程網頁「討論區」。導讀綱要的內容包括：
(1)要旨：核心問題意識和論證結構為何？
(2)論證：作者主張哪些論點？他提出哪些理由、論據來支持這些論點？
(3)延伸思考：相關理論、值得進一步討論或應用層面的延伸問題。
討論帶領者需於課前彙整同學們的提問，於課堂裡安排導讀和提問之順序，促進討論與意見交流。 |

針對課程內容自選研究主題，第16週口頭報告研究主題與綱要，並於6/18（週三）22:00前完成報告，繳交至課程網頁「作業區」（遲交會扣分）。
報告須以哲學學術性論文的形式撰寫，論文體例依據《國立臺灣大學哲學論評》的論文寫作格式。
篇幅：大學生4000-5000字（英文2300-2900字），碩士生6000-8000字（英文3500-4600字），博士生8000-10,000字（英文4600-5800字）。 |
