課程名稱:資訊行為理論研討
Seminar on Information Behavior Theories

課程概述:
理論是研究的基石,也是科學知識得以成長邁進的重要發展。資訊行為研究為圖書資訊學核心研究領域之一,國內外在論文的質量上都有長足的增長,特別是理論的建構與整合。本課程旨在有系統地探討以理論發展為基礎的資訊行為研究,針對各個理論內涵、特點及方法論上的議題進行評估,探討其在資訊使用者實證研究中的應用狀況,並發掘其相關理論,以廣泛的理論認知作為未來資訊行為理論研究之基礎。

(二)資訊行為研究的理論概念
(三)通則性資訊行為理論
(四)工作相關資訊行為理論
(五)日常生活資訊行為理論
(六)特定情境資訊行為理論
(七)特定社群資訊行為理論
(八)資訊檢索行為理論
(九)資訊行為理論之比較研究
(十)資訊行為研究發展趨勢 

課程目標
本課程中將針對理論之各個面向進行研討,使學生思考、瞭解並掌握:
(一)圖書資訊學文獻中,有哪些重要的資訊行為理論或模式?
(二)各個特定理論的發展背景或原因為何?
(三)各個特定理論的重要命題為何?
(四)該理論曾應用於哪些領域或哪些研究論著?
(五)該理論是否有關於研究方法論的討論或建議?
(六)該理論是否有相關連的其他理論模式?
(七)該理論的強處何在?
(八)該理論的弱點何在?
(九)資訊行為理論研究之發展趨勢為何? 
課程要求
1. 作業一(5%):
  請選擇一個曾經經歷的情境(如寫某一科的期末報告、購買3C產品、規劃旅遊等等),寫下自己的資訊需求、搜尋行為、檢索任務(如果有)、及完成後的結果,在課堂交流討論。

2. 作業二(5%):
  電影觀賞心得與分析

3. 期中報告(20%):
  請選擇一個主題/情境,或一個學者之著作,追蹤與其有關的概念或理論之發展,請運用課堂中所練習的分析、綜合等技巧,探討文獻中的衝突、互補或遺漏之處,提出批判性的看法,並提出這些理論對圖書資訊學未來研究的意涵。

4. 期末報告(30%):
  選擇一種研究對象,發展一份博士論文的實證研究計畫書,此報告必須嘗試納入相關理論作為研究設計的基礎。

5. 課室討論(40%):
  自第三週起,每位同學輪流負責導讀並討論當週指定閱讀。此外,負責之同學,應再多蒐集至少一篇相關文獻,做成簡報於課堂中以15-20 分鐘介紹報告內容之重點,再與老師、同學進行 Q&A 討論。
  個人簡報應於前一天晚上以電子郵件寄給老師先行過目。

~報告整體內容應具結構性,並展現組織思考能力。課堂及書面報告中若有引用到文獻,請逐一列出,並使用學術規範 APA 論文撰寫之格式~
