課程概述	課程名稱：資訊行為理論研討 Seminar on Information Behavior Theories 研究所學分：博士班3學分課程教授：林珊如課程概述：理論是研究的基石，也是科學知識得以成長邁進的重要發展。資訊行為研究為圖書資訊學核心研究領域之一，國內外在論文的質量上都有長足的增長，特別是理論的建構與整合。本課程旨在有系統地探討以理論發展為基礎的資訊行為研究，針對各個理論內涵、特點及方法論上的議題進行評估，探討其在資訊使用者實證研究中的應用狀況，並發掘其相關理論，以廣泛的理論認知作為未來資訊行為理論研究之基礎。課程單元：（一）資訊行為研究綜論（二）資訊行為研究的理論概念（三）通則性資訊行為理論（四）工作相關資訊行為理論（五）日常生活資訊行為理論（六）特定情境資訊行為理論（七）特定社群資訊行為理論（八）資訊檢索行為理論（九）資訊行為理論之比較研究（十）資訊行為研究發展趨勢
課程目標	本課程中將針對理論之各個面向進行研討，使學生思考、瞭解並掌握：（一）圖書資訊學文獻中，有哪些重要的資訊行為理論或模式？（二）各個特定理論的發展背景或原因為何？（三）各個特定理論的重要命題為何？（四）該理論曾應用於哪些領域或哪些研究論著？（五）該理論是否有關於研究方法論的討論或建議？（六）該理論是否有相關連的其他理論模式？（七）該理論的強處何在？（八）該理論的弱點何在？（九）資訊行為理論研究之發展趨勢為何？
課程要求	1. 作業一（5%）：　　請選擇一個曾經經歷的情境（如寫某一科的期末報告、購買3C產品、規劃旅遊等等），寫下自己的資訊需求、搜尋行為、檢索任務（如果有）、及完成後的結果，在課堂交流討論。 2. 作業二（5%）：　　電影觀賞心得與分析 3. 期中報告（20%）：　　請選擇一個主題/情境，或一個學者之著作，追蹤與其有關的概念或理論之發展，請運用課堂中所練習的分析、綜合等技巧，探討文獻中的衝突、互補或遺漏之處，提出批判性的看法，並提出這些理論對圖書資訊學未來研究的意涵。 4. 期末報告（30%）：　　選擇一種研究對象，發展一份博士論文的實證研究計畫書，此報告必須嘗試納入相關理論作為研究設計的基礎。 5. 課室討論（40%）：　　自第三週起，每位同學輪流負責導讀並討論當週指定閱讀。此外，負責之同學，應再多蒐集至少一篇相關文獻，做成簡報於課堂中以15-20 分鐘介紹報告內容之重點，再與老師、同學進行 Q&A 討論。　　個人簡報應於前一天晚上以電子郵件寄給老師先行過目。～報告整體內容應具結構性，並展現組織思考能力。課堂及書面報告中若有引用到文獻，請逐一列出，並使用學術規範 APA 論文撰寫之格式～
