課程概述 |
This course provides an overview of the concepts related to informetrics methods and studies, as well as the application of the concepts on research evaluation and scholarly communication. In addition to analyzing the indicators and operation models of the main research evaluation mechanism, the students will also learn the meaning of the evaluation results in research and educational policy making by applying relevant evaluation information, and review how to use it through suggestions and implementation. Various indicators will be discussed for strategic policy planning and related issues, different cases are analyzed to explore the use of methods and indicators and interpretation of results as well. |

Through the study and discussion, students will learn the knowledge of quantitative analysis in research evaluation and scholarly communication, and obtain the practical ability to conduct research, becoming metric-wise.
