課程概述 |
本課程授課在輔導博士生對藝術史領域研究方向的熟悉，引導學生思考有關藝術史家的基本研究方法，以及當前藝術史研究的多樣發展。內容包括中國藝術史研究傳承及脈絡的回顧，風格研究、物質文化、視覺文化、文化交流等各種豐富面向的討論。範圍雖然以中國藝術史領域為中心，但是會適時延伸、關照整個東亞地區的發展趨勢。授課的方式多元，著重雙向的溝通，引領學生思考問題。

課程目標 |
學生在課程中將重新思考、反省藝術史作為一門人文學科的本質，並探討藝術史領域近年的研究發展。希望學者能藉此可成掌握當前藝術史領域的研究潮流，並且藉由批判性閱讀、撰寫書評來增進博士論文的撰寫技巧。修課後希望同學能夠有更廣闊的視野、更客觀的態度，來審視自己在學術領域的位置以及未來的研究方向。 |

課程要求 |
1. 每週上課都有指定閱讀，要求學生以批判的角度給予評論。
2. 課堂報告兩次，包括書評及研究計畫撰寫(或正在進行中的論文內容) |
