課程概述

This course aims to provide fundamentals about ERP research and hands-on experience of data-collection and data analysis for beginner students. This course will be a mix of lectures, substantial laboratory sessions, individual consultations, structured discussions and classroom presentations. 

課程目標
This course aims to give students:
§ a basic level of competence with the technical and theoretical aspects of electrophysiological recordings
§ hands-on experience of running an ERP experiment
§ abilities to conduct basic pre-processing and visualization of ERP data
§ practices with summarizing, presenting, and drawing inferences from the data 
課程要求
Students will be required to collect ERP data from peers in the class using a well-established ERP paradigm, analyze the data, and present the analysis result at the end of the semester.

A mid-term exam will be given covering the lectures in the first half of the semester.

Students will be asked to analyze a fake set of data using set parameters for this exam.

For lectures, a short quiz about the previous lecture will be given in the beginning of next class.

Following each lab sessions, students will be asked to practice the analysis, and submit the analysis before the beginning of next class.
