Course Description |
臺灣是一個多族群、多語言的島嶼，島上除了有歸屬漢語的國語、閩南語及客語外，還有許多屬南島語言的原住民語言，原住民語言結構之獨特性與語言資料之多樣性，是任何一位語言學家都想浸涵、研究之地。南島民族分佈的範圍廣達26000公里，橫跨太平洋及印度洋，約佔地球面積三分之一以上的水域，目前說南島語的人口約有兩億七千萬，使用的語言達1200種以上，是世界上最重要的語系之一。臺灣的原住民是其中重要的一支，從近年的研究我們已經可以很確切的認定這1200種南島語的原鄉就是臺灣，瞭解臺灣南島語及其結構特徵等於幫助我們瞭解這樣一個龐大語系及族群遷徙擴散一個重要的篇章。 |

Course Objective |
本課程開設之目的在增進同學對臺灣南島語的認識，內容包括語言源流和結構特徵兩大部分。通過對語言源流的介紹，可以了解臺灣南島語在世界語言語系中的地位；通過對結構特徵的解說，可以對臺灣南島語的實質內容有比較深入的認識。 |

預計有：作業、小考、語言田野調查、分組討論、期中考、期末報告、上課參與、出席率等等，百分占比會在第一堂課的課綱載明。「出席率」會是本課程嚴格要求的一環，請修課同學留意。 |
