課程概述 |
This course offers an introduction to the life and music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-91). It will examine the nature of his musical style through in-depth discussion of a selection of his masterworks, and will also consider the relationship of this style to his biography and to his cultural and social environments. |

課程目標 |
Through regular listening to Mozart's music and intensive discussion, students will become familiar with basic aspects of Mozart's musical language and with his life and times. |

課程要求 |
There are no prerequisites for this course, other than an interest in becoming familiar with Mozart’s music, life, and times. Students who wish to enroll do not need to have any prior musical training; however, it is recommended to be able to read music notation. |
