Course Description

1. 本課程適合中級一以上程度的學習者,也就是至少學習完《視聽華語二》,能掌握950個以上中文詞彙量,或是在臺灣中文學習總時數達到320小時 (或在其他國家地區達640小時) 的學生,或已通過臺灣TOCFL華語文能力測驗第A2級或HSK漢語水平考試第3級的學生。
This class is limited to students of intermediate Chinese level (or above).They should have finished at least the textbook Practical Audio-Visual Chinese II or be capable of more than 950 Chinese vocabulary or have taken Chinese classes for more than 320 hours in Taiwan (In other countries, students should have taken Chinese classes for more than 640 hours). Students who pass TOCFL A2 or HSK level 3 can also take this course.
2. 本課程授課語言以中文為主,英文為輔。
This class will be mainly given in Chinese.

在隔離及不在台灣的同學可線上上課,其他在台灣的同學請到教室上課(Students who undergo quarantine or currently not in Taiwan may join the class on line, others should come to Gongtong Lecture Building 306 in person.)

Course Objective
1. 使學生覺察母語與華語在同一種語言行為下所使用的不同表達方式。
Students can be aware of the different expressions between their native language and Chinese in the same speech act.
2. 使學生能比較及分析母語與華語語用策略之異同。
Students can compare and analyze the
similarities and differences of pragmatic strategies between native language and Chinese.
3. 使學生能適當地運用華語的語用功能(拒絕、贊同、請求…等)
Students can be able to recognize and perform pragmatic functions of Chinese (e.g. refuse, agree, request…etc.) appropriately.
 
Course Requirement
1. 準時上課、準時繳交作業
Be in class on time and hand in homework on time too.
2. 課堂上不可以吃東西
Do not eat in class.
3. 課堂上除了查字典外不得使用手機
Except for looking into dictionary, students can not use cellphone in class.
4. 確實與同學溝通及合作
Fully communicate and cooperate with classmates.
