Course Description
This course is an introduction to the theory, study and practice of AV (subtitle) translation.

Course Objectives
Elimination of basic errors and production of seamless subtitle translation in different genres; exploration of critical and scholarly approaches to AV translation

1.Weekly homework
2.Presentations
3.Final individual or group subtitling or dubbing project
4.Academic paper of at least 8-10 pages double spaced on some aspect of AV translation |
