課程概述

“The fewer the words, the better the prayer.” — Martin Luther
This adage perfectly captures the essence of our course, Fundamentals of English Writing (FEW). You will transform into a FEWer — a more concise, clear, and effective writer. This course is designed to equip you, a major in Science fields, with essential skills in academic English writing. You will delve into common rhetorical patterns, paragraph and essay development, grammar functionality, and crucial academic vocabulary. Through engaging lectures, discussions, participation, and peer collaboration, you will explore various essay types. FEW goes beyond grammar and mechanics; it is a journey toward becoming a proficient writer who can share ideas pellucidly. Join us and discover the power of fewer words.
