課程概述 |
This course is a continuation of Calculus I. The primary purpose of the course is the attainment of the objective: to apply different and integral calculus to problem solving. In Calculus II, the emphasis will be placed on multi-variable calculus and vector calculus and their applications and interpretation in physics. After the midterm, the course will be shifting its focus to the concepts of sequence, series, and their applications. |

To present the fundamental concepts of multi-variable calculus and notions of sequence and series.
To help students develop skills and knowledge for topics in multi-variable calculus necessary
for its application in science and engineering.

課程要求 |
Familiarity of concept of limit and continuity in single variable functions;
Differentiation and integration of single variable functions. |

In-class quizzes take place in Week 4, Week 6, Week 8, Week 12, Week 14, and Week 16. Except for Week 8 and Week 16, all other in-class quizzes take place during TA sessions. The in-class quizzes in Week 8 and Week 16 are worth 4 points each and the other 3 points each. |

WebWork problems is opened one week before the lecture for each section and closed two weeks after it.
Late submission is not possible. If one finishes more than 70 percent of WeBWork problems correctly, he/she gets the full points. |
