課程概述 |
This course introduces basic techniques (differentiation and integration) of calculus, and its applications (especially to problems related to management, economics, finance etc.). The first semester covers one-variable calculus, while the second semester covers calculus of several variables and an introduction to the probability theory. A detailed day-to-day contents will be distributed in the first class day (09/10/2013). |

Hopefully, the students can be more comfortable with various calculus techniques and their wide varieties of applications. |

課程要求 |
The course grade consists of the grades from a Midterm, a Final and 8 Quizes.
There may have "Take Home Problems" distributed in the class at an irregular time. The students are "NOT" required to hand in the solutions of these problems. However, the problems in the midterm and final are similar to the problems in the textbook and Take Home Problems. |
