課程概述 |
This is the first semester of a two-semester sequence in Introductory Physics for science-majored students. Topics include Newtonian Mechanics, Wave Mechanics, and Thermodynamics. Students are required to watch pre-class videos and complete related assignments to prepare for lectures. The instructor combines lectures with interactive in-class exercises to assess students' understanding in real time. Teaching assistants provide support through office hours and lead recitation sessions, where students collaboratively discuss and complete post-class assignments.
Course Add Method:
This course falls under Category 3. If you wish to add the course, you must attend the first class session. After the grading policies and course requirements are introduced, please notify the instructor of your intention to enroll. All students will initially be listed as auditors on NTU COOL.
During the Add/Drop Course period:
Week 1: Please register through the course request system; enrollment will be determined based on availability.
Week 2: If the course is full and you are not enrolled via the system, the instructor will provide a permission code for course addition. |
|
課程目標 |
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
A. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of physics.
B. Articulate physics concepts, processes, and results effectively, both verbally and in writing.
C. Apply logical and analytical thinking to solve physics problems systematically.
D. Develop teamwork skills through collaborative discussions and problem-solving activities.
E. Foster the ability to engage in international academic and professional contexts with confidence and intercultural awareness. |
