課程概述 
In this course we will cover a wide class of topics in physics. This includes (not necessarily in this order )
1. Differentiation, integration and vector
2. Introduction to Netonian mechanics
3. The law of physics as minimal path (Cartesian Coordinates)
4. Conservation laws and symmetry
5. The law of physics as minimal path (Polar Coordinates)
6. Kepler's law and hidden symmetry (LaplaceRungeLenz vector)
7. Changing coordinates ( Fictitious Force, Coriolis Force)
8. Oscillations and linear secondorder differential equations,
9. Wave equation, Doppler Effect, the electromagnetic waves.
10. Orthogonal series and Fourier Transform, how to send a message.
11. Special relativity, the structure of space time.

課程目標 
Ok so here's what we gonna try to do. We will try to learn how to ``think" about physics. In physics, and in many research areas for that matter, progress are generally made by finding the right question to ask. You might wonder, "how the hell do I know what is the right question?" well not to be too cliche' but its really like finding the right partner, you know when you do. In other words, when you phrase the question correctly, you find the solution.
So in the course, we will build up our knowledge of physics by simply learning to ask the ``right" question. So..... buckle up.

課程要求 
We will have two MidTerms. We will also have homeworks each week, and it will be corrected by the TAs, however, no grades will be given. The final grade will be based on the two midterms and the final exam. All problems in the exam will be based on the homework, with only one or two exception (not more than 10%).
We will not take attendances.
