課程概述 |
This course covers classical mechanics, oscillations and waves, and thermodynamics, Chapters 1-20 of the textbook,
D. Halliday, R. Resnick and J. Walker, ``Principles of Physics'', 10th Edition, Wiley (2014). |
課程目標 |
The students will have a basic understanding of classical mechanics, waves, and thermodynamics. Moreover, they will learn how solve physical problems with calculus and vector algebra. |
課程要求 |
The students are required to attend the classes on Wednesday and Friday, to work out the Problem Sets by himself/herself, and to take the Midterm and Final exams. |
