課程概述 |
This course will cover electromagnetics, optics, and selected topics of modern physics. It is designed for science major students with basic knowledge of high-school physics level and a practical knowledge of basic calculus. |

課程目標 |
The aim is to give students an overview of physical phenomena, with rudimentary mathematical analysis. Some emphasis on the daily life application of relevant physics is emphasized. The students are expected to be familiar with the core concepts of general physics and are able to use proper mathematical tools to analyze physical problems. |

A reasonable grasp of high-school level general physics
basic calculus
Tests: One midterm, one quiz, one final.
Score: Homework (30%), midterm(25%),quiz (10%), final (35%)
