課程概述

This course is the second part of a two semester introductory physics sequence for science majors. It covers electromagnetism, optics, special relativity, and introductory quantum computation. Students are expected to watch pre-class videos and complete the associated assignments to prepare for lectures. Class time is a combination of lectures and interactive in class exercises designed to assess students’ understanding in real time. Teaching assistants provide additional support through scheduled office hours. After class, students work in groups to discuss and complete post-class assignments, which are graded collaboratively.

Course Add Method:
This course falls under Category 3. If you wish to add the course, you must attend the first class session. After the grading policies and course requirements are introduced, please notify the instructor of your intention to enroll. All students will initially be listed as auditors on NTU COOL.
During the Add/Drop Course period:
Week 1: Please register through the course request system; enrollment will be determined based on availability.
Week 2: If the course is full and you are not enrolled via the system, the instructor will provide a permission code for course addition.
