課程概述 |
In this class, we will develop the skills for the understanding of motion of
single particles and systems of particles. Also, we will discuss special relativity. |
|
課程目標 |
The goal of this class is to develop a deeper and more comprehensive
understanding of the motion of objects in the classical regime for point
particles and systems of particles. This course will also develop a description
of motion in terms of forces (Newtonian Mechanics) and energy (Lagrangian and
Hamiltonian Dynamics). This understanding of classical mechanics paves the way
to quantum mechanics. |
