此為延續性課程，基本上為一般有關有機化學之基本知識介紹，本學期將延續普化丙課程中對有機化學的基礎認識繼續討論有機化學的其他部分，可將本學期整個課程概分為以下主題：(We will continue our discussion of fundamental aspects of Organic Chemistry based on the understanding of basic knowledge of General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry we have done in the last semester. We strongly recommend only students they took the previous course delivered by Prof. Wong to joint the next semester. This course will be divided into several topics listed as the followings:)

1. 取代與消去反應 (Substitution and Elimination Reactions)

2. 有機化合物之鑑定 (Structural Characterization of Organic Compounds)

3. 芳香類化合物之性質及反應 (Properties and Reactions of Aromatic Compounds)

4. 有機化合物之官能基及其相互間轉換 (Functional Group Transformations)

5. 生物有機化學 (Bio-organic Chemistry)

6. 有機材料化學 (Material Chemistry)

課程中將會對此主題依課本進度分章節論述，課程之詳細預定進度將於每學期開始時另訂之。(This course will be divided into chapters according to the textbook, and the detailed curriculum will be announced at the beginning of second semester)

上課方式：上課教材將以筆記講述配合投影片教學。(Chalk talks, and supplement by using relevant overhead projection)

成績評量方式：兩次小考，期中考，期末考，四次分數平均(Two quizzes, midterm, and final examination, the final grade will be given by averaging 4 tests.)
