This course is designed to elucidate the principal geological processes operating at the earth’s surface and how these processes shape the landforms. The topics and associated lecturers are shown below:

7. Shorelines Ping-Mei Liew
8. Midterm
9. Tectonic landform Wen-Shan Chen
10. Topographic expressions of folded strata Wen-Shan Chen
11. Topographic expressions of joints and faults Wen-Shan Chen
12. Landform developed on igneous rocks Wen-Shan Chen
13. Dating geomorphic features Wen-Shan Chen
14. Field trip Louis Teng
15. Glacial processes and landforms Ping-Mei Liew

The students will be graded on the base of the following four items:
