Course Description: This course is an introduction to the science of psychology using the second edition of Gazzaniga M.S. & Heatherton T.F. Psychological Science. The course covers the brain (self-study chapter), perception, learning, memory, emotions & health, human development, and disorders of the mind. Lecture is in English using PPT slides with numerous videos and demonstrations. Lecture slides posted prior to lecture. Workload is spread evenly throughout the semester using chapter quizzes, brief in-class essays, and a group project to go along with a relatively light midterm and final.
