課程概述 |
Algebra is supposed to prepare the students to have necessary background and enough techniques for their later studies in various fields including pure and applied areas. This (honor) course will cover the whole book of Basic Algebra I by Jacobson, together with extended topics from Bourbaki's classic. The plan of the first semester is mainly on group theory and Galois theory. |
